Service Description
Bring your students for an engaging, hands-on journey through local SW Minnesota history. This experience is designed to provide students with a tactile and immersive understanding of regional heritage through our diverse exhibits. Perfect for school groups looking to connect history textbooks to real-world artifacts. Tour is 1.5 to 2 hours long, FREE for the students, $8 each for Teachers & Chaperones. We accommodate groups of 40 or less. Come middle of September - Oct OR middle of April - May (Wednesday thru Friday).

Cancellation Policy
*Welcome to the Heritage Center. We’re committed to providing an enjoyable, safe, and educational experience for all visitors. Please review our booking, payment, and cancellation policies before scheduling your tour. *Booking a Tour • Advance Reservations: Tours must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. • Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email with tour details once your booking is complete. • Group Tours: Groups of 10 or more must reserve at least 2 weeks ahead to ensure guide availability. *Payment Information • Payment is due 2 weeks before the tour date. • Payments made 1–2 weeks prior may incur a $50 late payment fee. • If payment is not received 1 week prior, the tour may be cancelled. *Cancellation & Refunds • More than 2 weeks before tour: Full refund or reschedule. • Within 2 weeks: Refunds only if the group has a written weather policy on file. • Within 48 hours: No refund. *Weather Related Changes Your safety is our priority. Tours may be modified or cancelled due to severe weather conditions, including extreme heat or storms. If a tour cannot be safely conducted: • We may move activities indoors • Adjust the tour route • Offer a reschedule • Provide a refund if no alternative is possible *Groups may request cancellation due to weather if their organization has submitted a written weather policy at least 48–72 hours in advance. *Late Arrivals Visitors arriving 15+ minutes late may receive a shortened tour. If the delay prevents the tour from starting, it may be treated as a no show. *Rescheduling You may reschedule your tour once, provided the request is made 24+ hours before your scheduled time. Rescheduling is subject to guide availability. Events outside anyone’s control (natural disasters, emergencies, government restrictions) qualify for: • A full refund or • A no cost reschedule *Refund Processing *Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
